Our Story

Hospitality and the desire to serve others have always been at my core, and baking became my creative outlet for doing so around the age of thirteen. I chose to focus on cinnamon rolls because they’re universally loved and bring a sense of warmth and comfort—something I want to share with everyone.

I’m passionate about the quality of ingredients in my baked goods. As I developed my recipe, I focused on creating a treat that parents could feel good about giving their children—made with simple, organic ingredients and NO seed oils.

Looking ahead, one of my goals for Blue Bird Bun Company is to incorporate local farm-fresh ingredients, seasonal flavors, and offer gluten-free and dairy-free options.

The inspiration behind the name “Blue Bird” comes from my beloved Pappaw. Before he passed, he passed down a love of birds and a special nickname—Jay Bird. That’s why the blue bird in our logo is actually a blue jay, not just any blue bird. I’ve always known that if my dream of owning a bakery came true, it would be a sweet tribute to my Pappaw.
